Chef/Owner Jim Solomon loves to celebrate those Holidays that are steeped in Revolutionary History. Patriots Day is always a hit here at The Fireplace, due to the well-dressed and authentic minutemen shuffling around the restaurant and well rehearsed colonial music coming from the Fife and Drum corps. Here is what we're offering for this year's salute.
Please join us for a a tasting of aged rums, a talk about the etiquette of snuff, and a Champagne sabering with a short sword. What would a colonial gentleman be without his rum, snuff, and a short sword?
Sir Jeremy Bell, the Knight of Toasting, will be our special guest and will be joined by other rogues. Singing and fiddling is sure to follow! Check out Jeremy's website, maninaskirt.com.
